Early foundations:

Central Conservatory of Music

My musical journey took a pivotal turn in 2018 when I was admitted to the prestigious Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Under the expert guidance of Professor Henry Chen, I laid the foundational stones of my double bass artistry, developing a deep understanding of technique and expressive nuance.

Refining artistry:

Manhattan School of Music

Continuing my pursuit of excellence, I crossed continents to earn my Master of Music degree at the renowned Manhattan School of Music. There, I had the privilege of studying with Timothy Cobb, the esteemed principal bassist of the New York Philharmonic, whose mentorship profoundly shaped my approach to performance and interpretation.

Future horizons:

University of North Texas

Currently, my path leads me to the University of North Texas, where I am dedicated to completing my Doctor of Musical Arts degree, studying with Jeff Bradetich and Gudrun Raschen. This journey is fueled by a deep passion for sharing the double bass's beauty, enjoying teaching, collaborating with diverse musicians, and exploring various musical styles. I believe music is a powerful way to connect people across cultures, fostering thoughtful and deeply emotional experiences.

"I hope listeners feel the depth, warmth, and expressive power of the double bass, and experience music that is both thoughtful and deeply emotional."
